Project 1124 - A Cyberpunk Adventure

About this title: A young man and his sister who have never known their home world, forced into servitude, thrust into bleak conditions with uncaring overlords. Project 1124 is the temporary name of my current writing project, started in November '24. This is an ongoing project of written fiction that I hope to update every 10 days or so, until I have enough chapters to complete a full novel. The genres I'll be working in include cyberpunk, space, action, adventure, sci fi, and whatever else pops up as I go along.

I am releasing this project as I'm writing it, under 2 Creative Commons licenses. The fiction will always belong to me. It can't be sold or posted on commercial websites, but it can be freely copied and shared. What you can do is apply your creativity and resources to what I've written and produce gaming material, in the forms of TTRPGs, video games, text games, whatever else, and offer it freely or sell it commercially. A more detailed explanation of the licenses is found on the book's title page.

Why am I doing this? To increase awareness of my writing, first of all, but also to give back to this great community. I've used many solo RPG games and supplements that others have given away freely, they've inspired me in my games and my writing, and I hope to inspire others the same way. If you enjoy reading the story, or if you produce something that makes money from it, you can always come back and reward me for it later.

Full disclosure: I have used bits and pieces from everywhere to put this story together, including my personal ideas, extensive research, online generators for details such as names and locations, RPG game tables from Cairn, Starforged and others, and in some cases I have taken suggestions from AI sources. Everything I've collected has been adapted or modified in some way to create the story I'm writing. In other words, the tools I am using enhance my story. The story you'll read was put together in my head, by me, and once the initial building blocks are put in place, the characters and story take on a life of their own, the way they usually do when I write. The only 'pure' AI content is the cover art, which will undoubtedly change a few times as the story grows its legs and runs off with me chasing after it.
